Job Summary
Our growing retail and commercial business efforts seek an experienced, self-motivated Sales Representative to generate and contact leads, help them find what they need, and upsell new products.
We’re looking for a professional who can quickly absorb and retain product knowledge. The successful candidate will receive on-the-job training for two weeks, then take over the management of their own schedule and sales accounts.
On average, we are contacting 30-50 contacts/leads each day, so the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment is a must. If you love a challenge and have a working knowledge of digital and physical media and print products, we can’t wait to have you on our team!
Roles & Responsibilities
● Generating a Lead List
● Contacting, Greeting, Informing, Educating, and assisting customers as they shop for new products
● Suggest applicable and relevant upsells to help customers walk out the door with everything they need
● Meet Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly Sales Quotas
● Meet Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly with the Sales Lead.
● Learn how products work and how to troubleshoot issues with customers
● Prepare and Submit Weekly Sales/Pipeline Reports to Management
● Train Clients/Retail Partners/Wholesalers on Products and Education for the Best Customer
Experience
● Assist other team members with transactions when necessary
● Provide Necessary feedback for MAD Monkey Media improvements during weekly meetings
Qualifications & Skills
● Bachelor’s Degree preferred
● Outstanding Communication Skills
● 2+ years of direct or inside sales experience
● 4+ years’ retail experience a plus
● Ability to translate complicated technical jargon for the average consumer
● Managing a variety of personalities and customer challenges
● Experience working with sales volumes greater than $200,000 preferred
● Willingness to work from alternate locations when needed
● Willingness to travel for shows, expos, or company meetings
● Up-To-Date Driver’s License & Insurance With Access To A Vehicle
● Active Cell Phone with Professional Voicemail Greeting
